Cars of this design moved furniture, lumber, auto parts and similar loads in fast, high-priority freights all across the country, with the prototypes working the rails from 1942 through 1975.

This is a limited edition, one-time run of these road numbers, so 920-101681 will not be repeated once it sells out. The model captures a 5/5 Dreadnaught end, Youngstown corrugated side doors and a wide 15' double-door opening, and it comes finished with factory-installed grab irons, ladders, stirrup steps and a brake wheel. A detailed underbody carries separately applied brake rigging, while ultra-smooth metal axles with 33" wheels and ProtoMAX metal knuckle couplers get it rolling right out of the box.

Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) 50' AAR double-door boxcar, ready to run
- Walthers Proto item 920-101681
- Decorated for Penn Central #175689
- Limited edition, one-time run of these road numbers
- 5/5 Dreadnaught end with Youngstown corrugated side doors and 15' double-door opening
- Factory-installed grab irons, ladders, stirrup steps and brake wheel
- Detailed underbody with separately applied brake rigging
- Ultra-smooth rolling metal axles with 33" wheels
- ProtoMAX metal knuckle couplers
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0644/9371/5706/files/920-101681_3f2c6bc8-a32d-455e-91b8-8d8803c31777.jpg?v=1787636996
https://blackforesthobby.com/products/walthers-proto-920-101681-ho-scale-50-aar-double-door-boxcar-ready-to-run-penn-central-175689
