As postwar trucking cut into the railroad's less-than-carload traffic, the PRR launched expedited merchandise trains that raced freight between eastern cities on tight schedules. To carry it, the railroad rebuilt its classic X29 boxcars into the higher capacity X29b by mounting a larger body on the original underframe.

The 920-102313 is a fully assembled, ready to run replica that reproduces the correct 10'6" interior height and the modernized roof, ends and doors of the rebuilt prototype. Separately applied ladders, grab irons and underbody details add depth, while correctly sized RP-25 metal wheelsets and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers keep Pennsylvania Railroad #26810 rolling smoothly and coupling reliably straight from the box.

Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) 40' X29B steel boxcar, fully assembled and ready to run
- Item 920-102313 from the Walthers Proto freight car line
- Road name and number: Pennsylvania Railroad #26810
- Paint scheme: Plain Keystone
- Correct 10'6" interior height with modernized roof, ends and doors
- Separately applied ladders, grab irons and detail parts
- Correct size RP-25 metal wheelsets
- Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0644/9371/5706/files/920-102313_1ac07fca-a290-4d18-82b3-0053aadb8f9b.jpg?v=1787638494
https://blackforesthobby.com/products/walthers-proto-920-102313-ho-scale-40-x29b-boxcar-ready-to-run-pennsylvania-railroad-26810-plain-keystone
