These compact cars are patterned after the prototypes that railroads used to calibrate the track scales where freight was weighed. Sent back to the shop for regular reweighing, a car like #95384 was a familiar sight moving across the system, which makes it an easy and prototypical addition to any operating scheme.

Item 920-105305 carries a diecast body for plenty of weight and rolls on 33 scale inch RP-25 turned metal wheels fitted with Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. Road-specific details include the correct side and top access doors, wheel bearings and hand brake, factory-applied wire grab irons, and photo-etched brass placards matched to the prototype. Park it on a yard siding or an industrial spur, carry it on a flatcar as a load, or pair it with the Cornerstone Track Scales kit (933-3199, sold separately) to add another operating chore to your railroad.

Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) ready-to-run scale test car
- Item 920-105305 from Walthers Proto
- Road name and number: Rock Island #95384
- Diecast body for maximum weight
- 33 scale inch RP-25 turned metal wheels
- Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers
- Factory-installed wire grab irons and photo-etched brass placards
- Road-specific: staff hand brake, covered wheel bearings, round side doors with release latch bar
- Pairs with the Cornerstone Track Scales kit (933-3199, sold separately)
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0644/9371/5706/files/920-105305_eb4a7d89-80f8-43ed-89a6-2f1b458cee2e.jpg?v=1787632752
https://blackforesthobby.com/products/walthers-proto-920-105305-ho-scale-scale-test-car-rock-island-95384
