Alexander Scale Models is a U.S. manufacturer of HO and N scale detail parts, accessories, and structure kits, known for its white metal castings and hand-crafted products.

Founded in the 1930s by Edwin Alexander, the company has a long heritage in the model railroading community. Today, Alexander Scale Models operates out of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and continues to produce a wide range of parts and kits under the stewardship of Sharon Prantle and family.

Alexander Scale specializes in white metal detail parts for scratch builders and kitbashers. Their catalog includes chimneys, roof supports, windows, doors, gingerbread trim, machine tools, mine equipment, couplers, relay boxes, car counters, and order boards. These parts are designed to add realism to structures, rolling stock, and trackside scenes. In addition, the company offers wooden building kits and miscellaneous wayside items, giving hobbyists the ability to create highly detailed and prototypical layouts.

Another hallmark of Alexander Scale is its commitment to hand-crafted, made-in-USA production. Many of their products are cast and finished by hand, ensuring durability and authenticity. The company also manages Stewart Products, which provides craft train kits made from diecast, stamped, and formed metal parts, as well as vinyl tubing. Together, these lines offer hobbyists a wide variety of accessories to enhance layouts.

For hobbyists searching for Alexander Scale Models products—HO and N scale white metal detail parts, wooden building kits, trackside accessories, and Stewart Products craft kits—the brand delivers reliable, authentic components that bring life and character to model railroads. By combining historical legacy with hand-crafted quality, Alexander Scale remains a trusted name for modelers who value realism and craftsmanship.
