Recreate a charming branch-line station with the Busch 1640 Ilfeld-Harz Train Depot, an HO scale (1:87) laser-cut wood kit based on the original in Ilfeld/Harz. The half-timbered construction, wood cladding, and plastered elements of the building are faithfully reproduced, and all parts are supplied pre-colored. Item 1640 includes station signs and further matching cut-out motifs to complete the scene.

The Busch 1640 kit can be expanded with the HO 1641 waiting hall and the HO 1642 goods shed to form the complete Ilfeld station ensemble. The base measures 250 x 110 mm and 9 mm high, while the building measures 238 x 103 mm and 130 mm high; overall the model spans 9-3/8 x 4-1/16 x 5-1/8 in. (23.8 x 10.3 x 13 cm). A stable plug-together substructure clad with the pre-cut, pre-colored wood parts makes item 1640 easy to build, needing only a hobby knife and plastic-model or all-purpose cement.
