Description
Because British interest in the aircraft was relatively low, it was not repaired until August 1943, when it received a new engine, was made airworthy again and repainted in the typical RAF captured-aircraft scheme. Remarkably, the white "11" and the bomb symbol remained on the fuselage. Given the serial NN644, it served with No. 1426 Flight (Enemy Aircraft) until 31 January 1945. This Busch 25011 model captures that unusual history with fine printing and detailing, ready to display.
Key Features:
- HO scale (1:87) ready-made aircraft model, factory assembled
- Busch item number 25011
- Messerschmitt Bf 109 F4 captured/RAF "prey" aircraft
- British camouflage scheme with white "11" and bomb symbol
- Based on the machine flown by Oswald Fischer (serial NN644)
- Ready to display on airfield scenes and dioramas
