The Busch 5748 is a versatile light control module suitable for all scales, with 8 double outputs for connecting a total of 16 light-emitting diodes or articles with built-in LEDs, such as crossing crosses, traffic lights, illuminated signs, construction-site warning beacons and flashers. A wide range of programs is available to drive the LEDs, from construction-site flashers and traffic-light sequences (including patterns for the former East Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the USA) to pedestrian lights, radar and photo flashes, chasing advertising lights, random house lighting, emergency-vehicle blue lights and double flashes, party and disco effects, and alarm systems.

With item 5748, the desired light program is simply selected via a jumper, and LEDs connect directly without series resistors, making setup quick and foolproof. Thanks to its easy handling and versatile control options, this module can be used universally on any model railroad layout. It runs on 10-24 V DC or 8-18 V AC, draws a maximum of 200 mA, and provides 16 outputs at 10 mA each for LEDs.
