The Faller 161773 Control Sensors are a set of three Car System sensors for HO (1:87) and N (1:160) scale layouts that detect passing vehicles and trigger automated functions on your road network. They are ready-to-connect electronic components rather than a plastic kit: a magnet mounted on the underside of each Car System vehicle activates the sensor as it passes, which in turn can switch stop points and branch-off junctions to control the flow of traffic.

Each sensor connects to the Faller Traffic-Control unit (art. 161651) and handles a maximum switching power of 5 W with a maximum switched current of 200 mA. Supplied as a pack of three, item 161773 gives modelers and diorama builders the trigger points needed to sequence stops, junctions, and signals for convincing, hands-free automation on both HO and N gauge Car System layouts.
