Use it loose to fill tenders and wagon loads, or fix it permanently to a shaped former with scenic glue or Faller Colofix to build static coal piles and bunkers. Because it is evenly graded and dust-free, it pours cleanly and heaps into believable mounds, and a coat of gloss or matte varnish can be added to fine-tune the sheen.
