Add light, sandy ground to your scenes with Faller 170821 sand soil scatter material, a finely milled 240 g (8.5 oz) powder with a very fine grain size of roughly 0 to 0.2 mm. Its pale, natural sand tone is perfect for beaches, dry riverbeds, sandy paths, playgrounds, construction sites, and light-colored soil areas. This is a ready-to-use scenery material rather than a plastic kit, so no assembly is needed - simply scatter the powder over wet adhesive or a diluted scenic glue and allow it to set for a fine, realistic sandy surface.

Thanks to its very fine grain, item 170821 is suitable for all scales, from Z and N through TT and HO and larger, and its subtle texture works especially well on smaller-scale layouts. Combine it with Faller's reddish, umber, and ochre soil powders to introduce natural color variation, and finish with static grass or foliage for completed groundwork. The 240 g pack delivers plenty of material for large surfaces and repeated projects. A go-to fine-grain groundcover for diorama builders who need convincing, light sandy earth.
