Faller 171309 is a 45 g pack of PREMIUM terrain flock in a very fine grade and a tinged olive-green colour, used to build up realistic ground cover on model railway layouts and dioramas. This is a loose scenic scatter material rather than a kit: sprinkled over a scenic adhesive, the fine flakes create the subtle, mottled colour of grass, meadows, undergrowth and worn field surfaces, and the tinged finish gives natural depth instead of a flat single tone.

Suitable for all the smaller scales - Faller lists it for HO, N, TT and Z - item 171309 works both as a base layer and as a blending shade over other flocks and static grass. The very fine grain is especially good for distant scenery and finely detailed groundwork where coarse material would look out of scale. It is an everyday essential for modelers and diorama builders creating convincing, layered landscapes.
