The Faller 222205 Old Coal Mine is an atmospheric N scale (1:160) plastic model kit depicting a timber-built colliery equipped with various loading and unloading facilities. Finished as a patinated, pre-weathered model set in Epoch II, it delivers the weary, coal-dusted look of a working pit straight out of the box, making a compelling focal point for a mining branch line.

The kit comprises 93 single parts molded in 4 colours with window foil and construction instructions, and builds into a large structure measuring 7-7/8 x 7-5/16 x 4-3/16 in. (200 x 185 x 106 mm). It can be illuminated with a Faller 180653 lighting unit, and its ready-weathered finish reduces the painting required. Rated an easy to moderate build and supplied unassembled; Faller Expert glue (170492) or Super Expert glue (170490) is recommended for assembly (both available in our store).
