These sturdy masonry portals capture the character of the early railway era (Epoch I) and provide a clean, convincing transition wherever twin tracks vanish into a mountainside or scenic divider. A pair in the box lets you dress both ends of a tunnel bore for a fully finished look.

Item 272576 is supplied unassembled and includes snap-off wing walls, allowing each portal to be matched to the slope and rock face around it. Each portal measures 1-15/16 in. (50 mm) across, sized for standard N scale double-track. Rated an easy build, it is an ideal first scenic project or a fast upgrade for an existing layout. Faller Expert glue (170492) or Super Expert glue (170490) is recommended for assembly (both available in our store); light weathering will help the portals settle naturally into the terrain.
