The Kadee 19 is an HO scale Magne-Matic coupler built to the NEM 362 European standard, so it slides into the standard NEM 362 draft gear box pocket found on many European-outline models. It pairs a metal knuckle with a plastic swallow-tail shank and centers using the NEM European-style arrangement, giving you Kadee's dependable knuckle geometry and magnetic hands-free uncoupling on continental equipment. Part 19 uses a Long underset shank measuring 10.67mm,.420 inch, 27/64" from the pulling face to the dovetail shoulder. Made in the U.S.A.

Part 19 comes assembled, two pairs per package, along with two #622 knuckle springs, and it does not include draft gear boxes since it mounts into the model's existing NEM 362 pocket. Mounting figures include a coupler centerline height of 9.9mm (.390") and a trip pin height of about.031". As with any metal knuckle, avoid seating it against a bare metal surface to prevent electrical crossover. The #206 height gauge, #231 Greas-em, #237 trip pin pliers, and #241 dual tool are handy for installation.
