The Kadee 1900 is a #1 Scale AAR Type E coupler supplied as coupler only, featuring a prototype head and a straight centerset shank in black. It is a replacement coupler for the older #820 and the #1906, letting you upgrade to the more prototypical AAR Type E head with its hidden knuckle spring and trouble-free, drop-in design. The 1900 is designed for #1920 (#820) body mount gear boxes, which are not included, and comes as one pair per package.

Each 1900 package includes the pair of Type E couplers along with a #879 centering spring (Kadee also references #878 G-Scale or #879 1-Scale centering springs). Compatible with Kadee #1 Scale couplers, the 1900 offers the easy installation and long-lasting quality Kadee is known for, covered under patent number 7,810,660 B1.
