The Kadee 622 is a package of HO scale knuckle springs for all standard-head couplers, the small springs that give the knuckle its self-closing action. These fit standard-head couplers with the exception of the #58, #78, #119, #150-Series, #178, #711, #714 and #2100. The 622 is a phosphor bronze (PB) precision-engineered spring; its in-house designation is HO-1, with a 0.052" outside diameter, 0.044" inside diameter, 0.004" wire diameter and 0.148" free length.

The 622 comes one dozen (12) springs per package, a handy stock of replacements for coupler maintenance. The #241 Dual Tool is recommended for installation.
