The Kadee 808 delivers S Scale couplers in brown, arriving as a complete set of plastic couplers, plastic gearboxes and lids, and the screws needed to install them. Each 808 coupler features a 9/32" centerset shank, measured from the back of the head to the center hole of the draft gearbox, and works with the #846 S Scale centering spring and #847 S Scale knuckle spring for dependable magnetic knuckle coupling. This drop-in design replaces the earlier #802 couplers and is compatible with S Scale draft gearboxes.

Each 808 package contains two pairs, meaning four couplers and four brown gearboxes with lids, along with six #846 S Scale centering springs, two extra #847 knuckle springs, plus 0-48 x 3/8" and 0-48 x 1/4" mounting screws. The plastic gearboxes measure 37/64"L x 3/8"W x 11/64"H, with a listed mounting height of 19/32", a 17/32" centerline, and 1/16" trip pin height. Kadee recommends the #814 S Scale coupler height gauge to set everything correctly. Made in the U.S.A.
