The Kadee 810 is an O Scale Magne-Electric thru-the-ties delayed-action electromagnetic uncoupler kit, supplied ready to assemble and install below the track. This electromagnet is energized on demand, so it is especially useful on mainlines where a permanent magnet could cause false uncoupling. It operates on 16 volts DC, and Kadee recommends a 16 volt DC source of at least 2 amps, or a 12-20 volt AC source of at least 2 amps converted to DC with a bridge rectifier (rectifier and capacitor not included). A normally open momentary push button, such as the Kadee #165, is recommended for activation. To avoid overheating, the 810 should not be activated for longer than 3 minutes at a time.

The 810 kit fits code 100, 125, 156, and 172 track and includes two coils, two steel cores, four field plates, one field plate divider, and one track mounting plate, along with code 125, 156, and 172 spacers, a 10-32 x 1 1/2" bolt with nut, and four 2 x 3/8" flat head self-tapping screws. Track is not included. Made in the U.S.A.
