The Kadee 812 is a multi-purpose O Scale coupler height gauge, an essential bench and layout tool for setting couplers, trip pins, and permanent uncouplers at their correct heights for trouble-free operation. It provides an instant visual reference of proper coupler height, checks car underbody clearance above the rail, verifies track width to N.M.R.A. standard, and gauges the correct trip pin height. Uniquely, the 812 also doubles as a mounting jig for the #811 uncoupler.

The 812 comes assembled with a working #805 coupler and #805 gearbox and lid mounted on an "O" coupler arm, a base plate, and a stamped metal plate, plus the 2-56 x 1/4" screw, two 1-72 screws and nuts, a knuckle spring, and two centering springs. Track is not included. Made in the U.S.A.
