Introduced in the early 1950s, the prototypes were built around a large one-piece steel casting and remained in regular service into the early 2000s, with some still working in maintenance-of-way service today. These versatile cars carried machinery, lumber, steel shapes, rail, and all kinds of building materials.

Like its prototype, the 910-6600 now features a die-cast metal body for excellent performance whether running empty or loaded. It arrives fully assembled with a finely detailed body and deck, correct 33" RP-25 metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. This is a one-time run with limited quantity available.
