Add modern bulk traffic to your HO scale (1:87) layout with the Walthers Mainline 910-7872 59' Cylindrical Hopper, decorated for BNSF #421703 in red-brown and white with the Circle Cross logo and trough hatches. Based on National Steel Car prototypes introduced in 1972 with a 4550 cubic foot capacity, these hoppers handled grain and potash and remain common across North America. The car is nicely detailed, fully assembled, and ready to run.

Item 910-7872 reproduces the 4550 cubic foot prototype with trough loading hatches, see-through running boards, and detailed brake gear, roof hatches, and end ladders. It rolls on correct 36" RP-25 metal wheelsets with Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers and is part of a one-time run with four different car numbers offered per road name.
