The Walthers Proto 920-103660 recreates a Milwaukee Road rib-side caboose lettered for the St. Maries River Railroad as #995 in a red, white and black scheme with the later oil stove arrangement. Milwaukee Road built these distinctive cars in its own shops, and they rolled across the system from 1939 into the 1980s before many were sold to other railroads, with several examples preserved today. This HO scale ready-to-run model captures that home-built character for stream- and diesel-era operations or collections.

Fine factory-applied detailing sets the 920-103660 apart, including wire grab irons, railings and ladders installed at the factory plus a detailed underbody with separate brake gear. Correct Milwaukee-style trucks ride on 33" RP-25 turned metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX magnetic metal knuckle couplers are fitted at each end. This is a one-time run of these road numbers, offered in limited quantity.
