The Walthers Cornerstone 933-3072 HO Scale Al's Victory Service gas station is a curbside classic for post-1930s layouts. Introduced in the late 1930s, box-style stations like this sprang up coast to coast and stayed a standard well into the 1950s. Combining the office, restrooms, and service bays into one structure, they gave motorists a neat, uniform appearance, with lots of windows and enameled steel walls decorated in company colors that made them bright and cheerful.

The 933-3072 kit builds an authentic little station that looks right on any vintage or modern street scene. Optional pumps are included so you can match your chosen era, along with colorful decal signs for the finishing touch. Just add vehicles, figures, and interior details, available separately, to bring the scene to life anywhere along your layout. Assembled, Al's Victory Service from the 933-3072 measures 4 x 6 x 2-1/16" (10 x 15 x 5.8cm).
