Detail your terminal with the Walthers Cornerstone Butterfly-Style Station Platform Shelter, item 933-3258, a package of eight platforms that pairs perfectly with the Cornerstone Union Station and other depots. Tall walkways gave passengers fast, easy access to and from trains and made it simple to wheel baggage and mail carts into place, while a roof offered protection from sun and rain. This kit builds a convincing platform scene with ease.

Of the platform styles North American railroads tried, the Butterfly type, named for its up-swept wing-shaped roof, was cheaper to build and easier to maintain, and it provided good ventilation for engine exhaust. Item 933-3258 includes parts for eight complete platforms and uses a modular design so you can arrange them to fit your station. Assembly is straightforward and the parts are molded in fitting colors.
