The Piko 37454 is a G Scale model of the EBS Era VI NoHAB diesel locomotive, supplied with sound. About 160 NoHAB diesels were built by Sweden's Nydqvist och Holm AB in the late 1950s to early 1960s under license from EMD, giving them a bulldog nose adapted with a cab at each end and A1A-A1A trucks that spread the weight for lighter European track.

Item 37454 reflects the elegance of its prototype, with finely rendered side ventilation grills, crisp front cab windows, and flush side portholes. Two powerful motors and carefully tuned gearing give the model excellent driving and pulling qualities. The 37454 is made from tough, weather-resistant materials for garden use, requires a minimum radius of 600mm (23.6 in), and is made in Germany.
