The 38262 carries numerous molded-on details including lights, brake cylinders, and the smoke stack, plus factory-applied tank piping, cowcatchers, handrails, and ladders. Operating white directional lighting and a detailed interior with an engineer figure add realism. It measures 570mm (22.4 inches) long, has a minimum recommended radius of 600mm (23.6 inches), and rides on hard chrome ball-bearing drive wheels with hook-and-loop couplers. Digital DCC sound can be added later using a Piko digital steam sound kit.
