The Piko 36224 is a G Scale sound kit for the V36 locomotive, bringing authentic operating audio to the model. It reproduces numerous digitally recorded sounds of the real locomotive and includes a weather resistant speaker built for the demands of an outdoor garden railway. The 36224 requires a decoder, the Piko 36125, to work.

Because sound is produced only during digital DCC operation, the V36 will still run on analog DC power but will not generate any sounds in that mode. Made in Germany, the 36224 is a rewarding upgrade for operators who want their V36 to sound as convincing as it appears. With the required decoder in place, it adds real depth to large scale running.
