The Piko 37690 is a G Scale VS98 railbus trailer for the German Federal Railway (DB) in Era III, offered as a trailer-only intermediate car. Designed as an add-on to the 37300-series railbus, this car is suspended between the two-piece unit and passes electrical current through the set, and it is realistically molded with molded interior seats.

The 37690 has a detailed interior that is lighting ready with a compatible Piko lighting kit, and it is prepared for DCC decoder and sound operation using a Piko sound kit together with a Piko loco decoder. Note that the railbus will run on analog DC, but the sound only functions on digital DCC. It rides on durable plastic wheels, uses hook-and-loop couplers, measures 507mm / 20.0 inches long, needs a minimum radius of 600mm / 23.6 inches, and is made in Germany.
