The Piko 52935 is an HO Scale ACL Whitcomb 65-Ton diesel locomotive, road number 70, offered in a non-sound configuration. This American Whitcomb version comes with fully-enclosed end beams and body-mounted, Kadee-compatible PIKO knuckle couplers. It is supplied non-sound and DCC-ready, so a decoder can be fitted for digital control. The prototype 65-Ton Diesel, also known as the 65-DE-19A, was built in America to fit the tight clearances of European railroads and served the US Army Transportation Corps before many returned to work American short lines and industrial railroads.
