The Piko 55050 SmartMeasure Car is an HO Scale measuring wagon that turns a length of track into precise data. It lets modelers measure a complete layout to the centimeter and, on inclines, out to the kilometer, with the high-tech electronics built into an attractive car body that blends into any train even when no measurement is being taken.

Working with a companion phone app for Android or iOS, or with a PC, item 55050 can replay measurement data and information live over WLAN, so graphical evaluations and average speeds can be reviewed even for areas of the layout that are hidden from view. The car has an overall length of 183mm (7.2 inches) and a minimum radius of 358mm (14.2 inches). A USB Micro-Type B cable is required but not included, and the 55051 PIKO Analyst software provides the analysis package.
