Like the rest of the PIKO G building program, these parts are molded from tough polycarbonate that resists UV light and weather, with fade-resistant color built right into the material. Many pieces carry a light factory weathering that gives them a lived-in, realistic appearance straight out of the box, making item 62810 a convenient way to add authentic wooden-look walls to a layout.

Because the 62810 is a component set rather than a finished building, assembly is required and the parts are meant to be combined with other PIKO G structures or kits. For indoor use the included plastic glue works well, while outdoor installations are best fused with a dedicated plastic cement for a permanent bond. The kit is made in Germany and supplies four wall pieces in two shapes, giving modelers the raw material to shape their own scenes.
