The Walthers Mainline 910-56102 is a ready-to-run HO scale (1:87) 40' 50-Ton Drop Bottom Gondola, decorated for Atlantic Coast Line #90023. The model follows the USRA drop-bottom design, updated with newer trucks and AB brakes. The prototype used composite sides with wood to conserve steel during WWI, and more than 20,000 were built for 25 railroads to move coal, stone, steel and other loose loads.

Fully assembled and ready for your railroad, item 910-56102 includes cast-in floor detail with non-operating drop-bottom doors, correct 33" turned-metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. This is a limited edition, one-time run of these road numbers.
