Modeled after the cars that rolled on nearly every railroad before the 1970s, this ready-to-run car is decorated for Union Pacific #46545 and captures the slatted wood look of the stock cars that carried cattle and other animals from range stockyards to packing plants.

Item 910-41473 features authentic slatted wood sides with outside-braced wood ends, a detailed underbody with brake gear, correct 33" turned metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX magnetic metal knuckle couplers. It is a natural companion to the Cornerstone Stock Yard (933-3047) and Champion Packing Co. (933-3048) kits, both sold separately, and looks right in steam- and early-diesel-era freight consists. This is a one-time run of these road numbers in limited quantity.
