Bring a hard-working switcher to your railroad with the Walthers Proto 920-43512 HO scale EMD NW2, decorated for Union Pacific #1075. The prototype NW2 traces back to the 1,145 units built between 1939 and 1949, and these long-lived switchers worked alongside steam power as well as classic and modern diesels. This model follows early production prototypes with Phase I through IV hoods and road-appropriate details for each roadname.

The 920-43512 carries a fully featured ESU LokSound 5 Sound and DCC decoder that is fully customizable and compatible with the ESU LokProgrammer, driven by a five-pole, skew-wound can motor with 14:1 helical gears for smooth, quiet running. A heavy die-cast metal underframe, RP-25 metal wheels, Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers, LED constant and directional headlights, and a detailed cab interior with seats and crew figures round out this Union Pacific #1075 switcher, part of the highly detailed Walthers Proto HO scale line.
