The Walthers Proto 920-50301 HO Scale EMD GP35 Phase II DC in Santa Fe #2909 is a ready-to-run DC model of the transitional-era road switcher that bridged first and second generation EMD power. The GP35 was produced from 1963 to 1966 with nearly 1,300 units built. The ATSF was a major GP35 purchaser. Features DC power, LED lighting, separately applied details, RP-25 metal wheelsets, and Proto MAX metal knuckle couplers. DCC-ready for decoder installation.
